PCOSfriends was originally set up on 26thAugust 2008, to act as a temporary site following the closure of its predecessor,PCOSfriendly.
PCOSfriends became permanent in September 2008 and has since gone from strength to strength.
The site was created by Lala, who is currently still the site owner and an active administrator. More recently Harriann, Fluff and Amethyst have joined the team as site moderators.
The aim of PCOSfriends is to offer a safe, fun and friendly place for people to get together and chat about every aspect of PCOS, such as living with the symptoms or supporting someone who does.
