Before I start just want to make it clear that i dont in anyway agree with the views of the BNP (nor any political party really, dont know enough about politics!) but I don't think the list should be posted on here (sorry to be a killjoy) A discussion about the list and the implications of the list, maybe, but not the ACTUAL list. I know anyone who wants to look at the list could easily retrieve it from a search engine, but I dont think the reading of peoples personal information should be encouraged here on this forum.

Its a fair point, I looked at the link but I did not read it. I think the point of the post was to show the extremes of some people, I mean actually creating the list. I hear you Scottishamy, good point made Smile

I have mixed feelings about this. It would worry me inasmuch the children in these households could be put at risk because of their parents beliefs.

But on the other hand, I admit to immediately following the link to check that no one I knew was on there because I hated to think that anyone I knew could be a racist. I only found one local on there and I don't know him.

I was actually talking to archien about this earlier, its scary that so many people are members of the BNP.

He suggested that I removed the link, which I have now done so.

Anyone who knows me, knows how violently against racism I am and altho I know this is supposedly a country of free speech (tho I would argue that) and free will, I hate the idea that such a political party could even exist.
However, I recently saw something on tv which said that this party membership is being swelled by people disheartened by the illegal immigration problem we face. I find it sad that people are so disillusioned by the lack of border control exercised by the powers that be, that they feel they need to join such an extreme group. I can't help it and I know I am probably over reacting but every time I think of the BNP I think of the Klu Klux Klan. You'd think in this day and age we'd have moved past this but I think that the combination of immigration and terrorism have scared people to the point that they'll grasp at any sliver of hope, however wrong they are to do so. I'm just so relieved that I don't know anyone on the list.

I think this is going to go on and on for a while. I really don't know what to make of it all. On one hand I am pleased that these people are being outed but on the other I agree with what some of you have said about it not being fair on their families.

As for that DJ that was also sacked, I think its a joke that he said he joined for research purposes!

I've just found out that an ex-employee used to be a member, as they used their work email address when they registered. Considering we do employ a lot of people from oveseas, I can't see how they lasted here....

Shay, Someone has published a list of BNP members on their online blog, not really sure how they got a hold of it but its been proven to be a correct account of members. It has details such as their full names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.
